Computer Circuits and Systems Group
The CCS group is a joint venture of the Departments of
Computer Science
and
Electrical and Computer Engineering
at the
University of Rochester,
and has been the primary target for growth in both departments, with six
new faculty hired since the Fall of 2000.

Research interests: VLSI circuits and systems, CMOS circuits,
synchronization, clock distribution, pipelining, speed/power/area
tradeoffs.

systems, program development tools, compiler technology,

cluster computing, Internet search, and various other areas in
parallel and distributed systems.

Research interests: Integrated circuits and systems for high-frequency,
high-speed, wideband, and high-power-efficiency applications in wireless
communications, fiber-optic communications, and other related fields.
